Survivor Amazon Cast

Here is how the tribes fared over the course of the game:

Week 1- The tribes arrived in the Amazon and too everyones amazement the tribes were split into a tribe of men( Tambaqui tribe) and a tribe of women( Jaburu tribe).  The two tribes competed at the first immunity challenge.  The ever so confident men fell victim to loss when the Amazon women gained victory sending the men to Tribal Council.  Tambaqui went to Tribal Council and voted off Ryan.

Week 2- The Jaburu tribe claimed victory in the reward challenge winning themselves bait to hopefully catch some fish.  At the immunity challenge the Tambaqui men were able to finally win a challenge and sent the Jaburu women to Tribal Council.  Jaburu went to Tribal Council and they voted off Janet.

Week 3- Finally the Jaburu tribe was able to get together and work hard to complete their shelter and make their camp livable.  Both tribes were excited to interact with each other at the reward challenge.  Although they were all getting along the Jaburu women claimed victory winning some bathroom items (soap, comb, toothbrush, etc).  At the immunity challenge the Jaburu women came together and walked away with the immunity idol.  Sending the Tambaqui men to Tribal Council and they voted out Daniel with a majority vote.

Week 4- At the Tambaqui tribe they all ventured off on an expedition leaving behind Matthew.  At Jaburu everyone was getting sick of both Joanna and Jeanne barking orders.  The reward challenge had the tribes competing to see who could make fire better, and it turned out the Tambaqui men could and won a refrigerator containing some Coca-Cola.  At the immunity challenge they were tested to see who could catch fish better.  Proving that they can hold their own the Tambaqui men won immunity sending the Jaburu women to Tribal Council.  Jaburu went to Tribal Council and voted off their strongest member Joanna.

Week 5- The tribes were sent mail telling them to send their youngest member on a journey.  Dave and Jenna were sent away not knowing what to expect.  The two arrived and to their surprise were pampered with food, clothes, shower, and a bed to sleep in.  The two got close and revealed information about each others tribes.  The next day they were astonished to learn that they would be the ones to pick new tribes.  Jenna felt bad that the information she told Dave came back to haunt her when Dave picked Heidi one of Jenna's closest friend/alliance member.
The new tribes turned out to be Tambaqui= Dave/Butch/Roger/Jeanne/Christy/Heidi and for Jaburu=Jenna/Deena/Shawna/Alex/Rob/Matthew.  The new tribes competed at the immunity challenge and Jaburu pulled out a victory, sending the new Tambaqui to Tribal Council.  Tambaqui went to Tribal Council and it came down to Heidi who joined forces with the men to vote off Jeanne.

Week 6- Tambaqui came back to camp where Christy wondered why they chose to vote off Jeanne and not her.  The tribe told her she had better qualities than Jeanne and that is why she was spared.  The two tribes competed at the reward challenge where Tambaqui won some spices plus a tray of fruits.  Jaburu felt sad but pulled together to take a co-ed bath in the Amazon River, where Shawna was really putting on the charm to the men.  Deena felt that Shawna could become a threat if she joined with the men.  At the immunity challenge the tribes had to tear off meat from a bone and place it in a basket and the final weight would determine the winner.  Although Jaburu pulled together it was Tambaqui who came out victorious sending Jaburu to Tribal Council.  Jaburu went to Tribal Counsel where the tribe made a hard decision and voted off Shawna.

This is where the tribes merged and became one.  Calling themselves Jacare and individual immunity is in play.

Week 7- The tribes recieved a key in the tree mail telling them to open the mysterious box they received on day 1.  They found out that the two tribes were now merging into one.  Everyone was excited to finally join and the ex-Jaburu's came up with a plan.  They planned to take out Dave first, then Roger, then Butch and got at it with each other once this was accomplished.  The tribes merged and called themselves Jacare, Portugese for alligator/crocodile.  They had to start over from stratch including building a new shelter where Roger got on everyones nerves causing the ex-Jaburu's to change their previous strategy of voting of Dave first to now voting off Roger.  The survivor's went to their first individual immuntiy challenge where Heidi and Jenna stripped down for some food.  Everyone was waiting to see if Roger would win and to everyone's joy he pulled out early.  Deena ended up winning the first individual immunity challenge.  Back at camp Roger was happy considering his alliance with all the men was still holding strong.  The Jacare tribe went to Tribal Council where a shocked Butch and Dave watched as Alex, Rob, and Matthew turned on their previous alliance and joined the women to vote out Roger.

Week 8- Dave and Butch were left in shock of Roger's departure.  Leaving them feeling vulnerable.  Although he felt vulnerable Dave held his head high knowing that maybe he can get on people's good side by getting to know the rest of the tribe better and try to bond more.  At the reward challenge the survivor's were competing for some desserts.  Dave ended up winning the competition and was told he could choose someone to go with him.  He decided to choose Deena.  They enjoyed some ice cream and talked about Dave's vulnerability.  Deena told Dave she would try to talk to the others about voting off Matthew instead of him.  At the immunity challenge it was a game of elimination where the men indirectly eliminated themselves causing the 4 remaining women to fight for immunity amongst themselves.  Jenna arose as the victor, and claimed her first individual immunity.  The tribe returned to camp where it looked like the votes were split between Matthew and Dave.  Jacare went to Tribal Council where a shocked Dave was voted out with a majority vote.  (1st member of jury).

Week 9- The alliance of Rob, Heidi, Deena, Alex, and Jenna were feeling good about their superiority over the rest of the tribe.  Rob put his skills to work and convinced Matthew that he wanted an alliance with him, telling him that some people in the tribe wanted Deena gone.  The Jacare tribe competed in the reward challenge trying to win a afternoon drinking coffee.  They had to throw 3 different weapons at a target and the closest to the bullseye wins.  Alex ended up winning and chose Jenna to accompany him.  Back at camp Deena went behind Alex and Jenna's back and told the rest of the tribe that if Matthew wins the immunity challenge they are going to get rid of Alex next.  At the immunity challenge the survivors had to eat bugs in order to claim the immunity necklace.  It came down to Matthew and Deena, where Matthew was able to eat live grub faster than Deena could winning him immunity.  Back at camp Deena's plan to ditch Alex was brought to Jenna's attention causing her to get really upset.  At Tribal Council  Deena felt comfortable that her plan would work, but to her suprise the tribe decided to get rid of her and keep Alex.  Deena was the ninth person voted out.  ( 2nd member of jury).

Week 10- At Jacare Rob, Heidi, Jenna, and Alex were happy that they had all the power in the camp.  Christy, Matthew, and Butch were mad because the other four members were doing nothing around camp because they had the majority.  The reward challenge had the survivors relaxing with a good ol Survivor auction.  Jeff gave them a chance to win a letter from home.  Only one survivor could win.  Christy ended up winning which got Jenna upset.  Jenna's mom has cancer and she was worried about her mom, but Jeff felt that one more letter could be put up for auction and the tribe let Jenna get it.  The next day Rob and Alex talked about being in the final four and Alex told Rob if it came down to it that he would vote Rob off which got Rob thinking about Alex's motives.  After his talk with Alex, Rob decided to spill the beans to Matthew about everything he has done and hoped Matthew would forgive him and join him to vote off Alex.  Matthew forgave Rob and decided to join him.  The tribe was sent questionaires that consisted of questions about the rest of the tribe.  Like (Who needs therapy?/ Who is the most honest?/ Who do you have a crush on?,etc.)  The immunity challenge had the survivors guessing what the others said to some of the questions in the questionaire.  For instance- Who do you trust with your life?/ Answer: Butch, and who ever guessed right got a point.  First one to 5 points wins.  It came down to Rob and Matthew where Rob finally won immunity.  Back at Jacare  Matthew/Butch/Christy wanted Alex gone, and Heidi/Jenna/Alex wanted Matthew gone.  It all came down to Rob.  What side will he choose?  At Tribal Council he decided to align with Butch/Christy/Matthew and vote off Alex.  Alex became the tenth person voted out. (3rd member of jury.)

Week 11- Matthew/Rob/Christy/Butch were happy that they were now in command of the tribe.  Christy was probably the most happy because she was going to be the last female castaway and was gloating it to Heidi and Jenna.  Heidi and Jenna were really pissed at Rob for betraying their alliance so Rob could get further in the game.  The reward challenge had the survivors competing to have a visit with a loved one.  Although a painful game to lose, Matthew ended up winning and Jeff gave him the choice of keeping his victory or giving it up so the rest of the tribe could get a visit from their loved one.  Matthew generously gave up his visit and a tearful reunion began.  Jeff ended up giving Matthew his visit and spent a evening with his mom in the jungle eating a buffet and enjoying some Amazonian culture.  At the immunity challenge the tribe competed in a shuffle board type game where Jenna claimed the immunity necklace.  Back at camp Rob was worried about Christy defecting their alliance to join the women.  So he decided to talk to the girls and keep them and have them join him in voting out Christy.  Would they do it?  At Tribal Council Heidi and Jenna joined Rob to vote out an unsuspecting Christy.  Christy became the eleventh person voted out.  (4th member of the jury).

Week 12- After Christy's departure Rob again felt secure about his position in the tribe.  The girls were worried about getting voted off even though they got spared at the last Tribal Council.  Butch was acting strangely gathering a tremendous amount of fire wood for no apparent reason.  Spreading it all around camp.  At the last reward challenge the survivors got a sneak peek at a future challenge( a rope swing ).  The reward challenge was a mixture of previous challenges but the prize was a big one, a brand new car.  The survivors fought bravely against each other but Matthew came out on top.  Another surprise came along with the car.  A tailgate pinic but like always only one member could join Matthew, he chose Rob and they headed off.  While the tribe was at the challenge their unattended fire caught Butch's bundle of wood and ignited their camp, destroying it.  Only a fraction of the structure remained but that was all.  Butch and the girls first noticed it and were devastated.  Matthew and Rob returned to share in the grief, but the survivors held their heads up and went to the immunity challenge where it was a pentathalon ( 5 obstacles ) of rope webs.  Again Matthew claimed the now tattered and more importantly a crucial immunity necklace.  After the challenge Jenna was feeling bad from her tonsils and asked the tribe to vote her out.  Heidi fearing she would be next was hoping the men would vote Jenna out.  At Tribal Council the men had a better idea and voted out a healthy Heidi and keeping an ill Jenna.  Heidi was voted out.  ( 5th member of the jury).

Week 13-     ( PART ONE )
The final four were Rob/Matthew/Jenna/Butch.  The men were happy to have their tenuous alliance get them this far.  Jenna changed her previous notion of trying to get voted out and was happy to be the last female left.  The men's plan was for one of them to win immunity and oust Jenna, leaving the three men left and then may the best man win.  Although Jenna was sick she was going to try her hardest to win.  The second to last immunity challenge was a maze where the survivors would be blindfolded looking for feathered necklaces ( 4 all together ) and would bring them back to the center post.  It was a close race between Matthew and Jenna where the underdog Jenna won, assuring her a position in the final three.  At camp the guys were worried about Jenna's decision.  Who does she want gone?  She wanted Rob.  Rob was worried and asked Matthew to talk to her.  Butch also talked to her and was told that Jenna was on his side to vote off Rob.  After Matthew talked with Jenna she was assured a final two spot with Matthew, if she voted with them to oust Butch.  She agreed.  At the second to last Tribal Coucil, Jenna joined Rob and Matthew to vote out an oblivious Butch.  ( 6th member of the jury ).

( PART TWO )-

Rob was happy to be in the final three and that Jenna went along with the plan.  Jeff visited them and gave them a break from the game, a plane ride overseeing their Amazonian enviroment.  They got to relax and enjoy a peaceful ride.  After the plane ride they were dropped off at a hut where they were going to decorate themselves with flowers, leaves, jewelery, and paint as the native Amazons did before battle.  After they had fun decorating each other they headed to Tribal Council.  They competed in the last immunity challenge. It was a game of balance where Matthew hatched a plan to eliminate himself early and get guaranteed a spot in the final two.  If Rob or Jenna won he felt they would chose him to go up against.  When it came down to Jenna and Rob, Rob fell, making Jenna the winner and gaining her a final two spot.  She had a decision to make.  Who would she chose?  Matthew or Rob.  The final vote showed that Rob was voted out.  ( 7th member of the jury ).

( PART THREE )-

The final two are Jenna and Matthew.  At camp they spent the final day remembering the past 14 tribe members they spent time with.  Decorating a box with the name of the tribe member and the number they got voted out.  They also had a final farewell with the tree mail box and ignited it with a ball of flames.  After the farewells they headed to their last Tribal Council where they knew one of them would win.  They arrived to go head to head with the jury of their peers they voted out at previous Tribal Councils.  Jenna and Matthew made opening statements saying why they should be the sole survivor.  Then the jury had a chance to ask a question, or make a comment.  After a hellacious round of dodging bullets and answering really hard questions Matthew and Jenna had an opportunity to again finalize their opening statements on why the jury should vote for them as sole survivor.  Next the jury had to make the all important decision on who should win this year's game of survivor.  They voted but the votes wouldn't be read aloud until awhile later at a ceremony in New York City.  Where it was announced that Jenna was chosen as sole survivor.  Jenna beat Matthew by a landslide of 6 to 1 votes from the jury.  Even Christy voted for Jenna when she assured us that Jenna wouldn't win.  Jenna became the winner of Survivor Amazon, and the youngest survivor to win in any season so far.
